FEILDING, July 10. Prices for fat sheep continue to advance, fat ewes going to 255,10 d and fat wethers to 32s 6d, at the weekly stock sale today. The fat lambs offered were of inferior quality, no high prices being reached. A heavy yarding of mature sheep was totally cleared. The total yarding of,sheep was over 7000, with a fair proportion of ewes in lamb, and these mostly being aged, the market proved sticky. Store lambs, however, sold well, black-faced hoggets and ewe hoggets finding the market optimistic.

. A heavy yarding of dairy cows sold readily at advanced prices, which were about 10s ahead of lact week. Dairy farmers -are certainly out to purchase with plenty of power of absorption still evident. .Store cattle sold fairly well, with a firm market for potter cows. The fat cattle market showed a much better tone than oC late, with a yarding of prime quality including a proportion of ox beef. Prices for ox beef were about 27s 6d per 1001b, with cow beef at 245.
