FIRE IN WASHHOUSE

Slight damage was caused to an attached washhouse . at the ' rear of a shop and dwelling at the corner of Queen and Brougham Streets about. 9.45 o'clock this morning by a fire which originated from cinders from beneath a copper. The' Fire Brigade hart no difficulty-in ■ suppressing the outbreak with, a bucket pump. The premises are owned by Mr. F. Langdon and occupied by Winifred J. Grinlinton.
