HARMFUL LITERATURE
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Recent months have been notable,'.among other things, for a tremendous increase in the tide of harmful cheap literature flooding this country. Everywhere there are prominent displays of magazines on crime, vice, or ■horror subjects. To the credit of film-producers during the same time be it said that the general tone of their productions has improved; but in this type of deplorable literature is the manifestation • of an equally insidious menace.
