A three and three-quarter- day all-air schedule from Frankfort, Germany, to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver, the,: Pacific Coast terminals of United. Air Lines (U.S.A.), is now in effect as a result of interline traffic agreements between United Air Lines" and Deutsche Zeppe-lin-Reederie, operators of the new streamlined Zeppelin Yon Hindenburg. This all-air service cuts six days / from the fastest surface transportation now aviailable between the Continent and Pacific Coast (U.S.A.) ports; The Zeppelin requires two and .a half days from Frankfort to New York, from which point United Air Lines provides overnight aeroplape service, with twinengined transports to California, Seattle, and Vancouver. The total air fare from Frankfort to California, Seattle, or VancouVer is 566 dollars (£ll3, New Zealand currency), of which 406 dollars (£81) is for the dirigible fare and 160 dollars (£32) for United Air Lines' flight across the United States. The first through flight from Europe to the Pacific Coast of the U.S.A. was on May 11 with the arrival of the Von Hindenburg at Lakehurst,'N.J. The , Zeppelin .and, United Air , Lines will .offer ten round trips between Germany and Pacific Coast points this year.
