AUSTRALIAN WHEAT

SHIPMENT OF 4000 TONS (By.Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 15. In - spite of the - Government's decision, to prohibit the importation of wheat; a shipment of 4000 tons from Australia was landed by the Kairanga at Auckland on Thursday last.

The circular states it is understood the wheat would be used by Auckland mills to strengthen New Zealand flour, which had recently shown signs of weakness.
