STILL MENACING
[ATTITUDE OF KWAXfISI ! TROOPS COUNTER-FORCES PREPARED NANKING, June 13. The National Government is still sending troops southward in view of the doubtful attitude of the Kwangsi troops, who are reported still to be menacing Hunan.
Five Japanese warships have arrived at Amoy and landed marines to protect Japanese property. They will proceed to Canton if necessary.

ANTI-JAPANESE SPEECHES
LONDON, June 13.
The Exchange Telegraph Company's Hong Kong correspondent says that 100,000 Chinese soldiers and civilians participated in an anti-Japanese demonstration at Canton, shouting the slogans "Down with Japanese Imperialism" and. "Fight the Japanese." Virulent anti-Japanese speeches were delivered.
