NEW OXFORD CHAIR
I r —- It was announced recently thatth* Warden and Fellows of All Souls' Cok lege have undertaken to provide £900 per year towards the maintenance of a Professorship of Social Anthropology. They will also give £120 a year towards the superannuation contributions payable by the University on the full stipend attached to the Chair§ The establishment of the professor* ship, in place of the present reade» ship in Social Anthropology, will b# proposed in congregation.
