Palmer and Askew for the erection on the site next to the De Luxe Theatre of a threestoreyed reinforced concrete building for showroom and office purposes. The owner of the property and the builder, Mr. W. Belcher, is erecting the premises for lease to Manthel Motors, Ltd., who (without vacating their present premises) will occupy the whole of the ground floor for the purposes of a well-appointed showroom for motorcars. The building, with a frontage of 66 feet, will have a depth of 145 feet. A ramped right-of-way through from the new building to Lipman Street will facilitate the handling of cars. The building has been designed in accordance with the latest earthquakeresisting methods.
