YEARLING TRIALS
Owners and trainers are already making preparations for next year's classics, and several yearlings have already been broken in and educated to the use of hopples. The Roydon Lodge stable youngsters are well forward (reports the "Press"), and Mr. J. R. McKenzie has decided to give several a run over a furlong at Addington. His team of juveniles includes four by the old champion Great Bingen from Nyallo, Great Actress, Nulgeria, and Belle Keller. Nyallo, who is a half-sister to Acron, is the dam of Taxpayer; Great Actress has already left a Derby winner in Double Great; Nulgeria is a half-sister to a great American pacer, Mabel Trask (2min lijsec); and Belle Keller is the dam of Chestnut Axworthy (2min sJsec). Mr. McKenzie's pacers are bred for early speed.
