BROOKLYN CLUB
Tawa Flat was the venue of tls£ Brooklyn Club's run. There were _ 35 starters, who ran in four packs. Staujng from the Tawa Flat School, the trail embraced some six miles of country Owing to the race to be held next week all members made the going fast in order to get in some good training, notably the men of the fast pack, such as the McGregor brothers, Appleby and D. Pederson, who are showing good form, and should show up well in the race. Another member who is always to the fore in whatever pack he I goes out with is R. Cowie. ' After the run afternoon tea. which | the members of the club had provided, was served.
