ONE-LEGGED AIRMAN
Three years ago doctors told "Paddy" Flynn he would never fly again. Recently he flew me in one of the six machines he controls at Doncaster Airport, states a London journalist. Yet, six years ago when pilot- of the Imperial Airways liner City of Washington. "Paddy" crashed so badly (four lives were lost) that he fractured his spine and skull, lost one leg, broke the other in four places, smashed his ribs, spent three years in hospital, and'had nine operations.
