A BOARDINQHOUSE CHARGE
A city correspondent, "Boarder" r writes:—ln your issue of Thursday, a . full-page advertisement was featured setting out in detail.the cost of current for a number of electrical appliances. I.was interested to note'that this in- . eluded radio sets. Now, I would-like * to know, along with many others, why boarding-house proprietors are allowed ■ to charge owners of radio sets the sum of Is per week for electrical current. According to the advertisement: which is, no doubt, correct, a radio can be operated for one week at a cast of Jd, and if this is so, boarders -who "-own and operate radio sets are being properly stung, and I, for one, will dispose of my set rather than pay :iid per week more than is necessary.
