McD ON ALD—STEVENS.
The wedding was solemnised recently at St.'Barnabas Church, Roseneath, of Marjorie, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Gwyneth Stevens, Oriental Bay, to John Clegg McDonald, second son of Mrs. David Dickie, Palmerstoh North, and the late Mr. John McDonald, of Wellington. The Rev. E. M. McLevie officiated and Mrs. . Metcalf presided, at the organ. The church had been prettily decorated for the occasion by fellow-parish-ioners. The choir, of which the bride is a member, led the congregation in singing the hymns, "Lead Us Heavenly Father" and "O Father All Creating" and a psalm. Miss.Coralie Ellen sang the solo "Where'er You Walk" during the signing of the register. . " ■ . The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a simply-cut suit of Lido blue, with a smart velour Breton sailor hat, and accessories to tone. Her bouquet was-of pink carnations, lapageria, violets, and forget-me-nots. She was attended by her sister, Miss Gwynffer Stevens, who wore a navy blue suit with wide stitched, velvet lapels and cuffs, oyster lace blouse, and a velvet hat trimmed with a curled ostrich feather.
