HENNESSEY—FRASER.
The wedding took place recently in : Bethel Temple, Vivian Street, Welling- . ton, of Isabel, only . daughter of Mr. 1 D. Fraser, Wellington, and James, sec- ; ond son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Hennessey, ■ also of Wellington. The officiating | minister was Pastor E. T. Mellor. The church was beautifully decorated by ' the friends of the bride and bridegroom. The bride, who was escorted by Mr. . P. H. Trembath, wore a charming gown ; of ivory crepe satin cut on classical ■ lines. It.had a cowl neck-line, and ■ the full sleeves were shirred on to the shouldersi The skirt was full from the knees flaring into a long train, and the beautiful embroidered veil was worn well off the face and held in " place by a wreath of orange blossom. . She carried a shower bouquet of white and pale pink roses, carnations, and > maidenhair fern. The two. brides- '. maids, Miss Mildred Trembath . and Miss Joy Main, were dressed in pink ■ novelty georgette and green floral georgette respectively with.long sashes to tone. Both wore. hair bands of pink and, green velvet flowers and carried bouquets of autumn-tinted ; flowers. ... ' The best man was Mr. John. Hermes- : sey, the eldest brother of the bridegroom, and Laurence, his younger brother, was groomsman. ! The reception was held at Scotts, Manners Street, 90 guests being present. Mrs. T. H. Trembath, who received the guests, wore a frock of black lace trimmed with silver lame with ; black hat to match, and carried a bouquet of red roses and autumn leaves. " Mrs. ■ Trembath was assisted,by the t bridegroom's mother, Mrs. L. Hennesi sey, who wore a frock of beige silk . and cream lace, and carried a bouquet , of autumn flowers. The Hon. P. Fraser and Mrs. Fraser were the guests of honour. When Mr. and Mrs. James Hennessey ; left for the north, the bride was wearing a blue tailored costume with blue fur velour hat and grey accessories.
