HIDES AND SKINS SALE

A rather smaller offering of sheepfkins than usual was submitted at the fortnightly sale of hides and skins held by Wellington woolbrokers- yesterday. Dry skins were again a shade easier, but salteds showed little change. The demand for hides was less keen, and prices generally were somewhat lower compared with the last sale. Light and medium cow were id a lb lower, with heavies Jd do%yn, while light ox were id easier, and medium and heavy weights 3-8 dto Jd down. Tallow was firm. . .
