FALL FROM HORSE
BOY'S SERIOUS INJURIES
Serious injuries were sustained by Gordon Hamilton, aged 11, of Gloucester Road, Silverstream, shortly after noon yesterday, when, the horse on which he and; another boy were riding slipped on the wet bitumen. Both boys were thrown heavily on to the road, and Hamilton suffered concussion and a fracture of the base of the skull. After medical attention, he was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. His condition is serious, but today a slight improvement is reported.
