CAR PARK FLOODED
. The low lying parts of the foreshore along the Waiwetu frontage were well inundated on Saturday, afternoon. Golfers optimisic enough to visit the Waiwetu course who had parked their cars in the ordinary spot known to frequenters of "the trots" had the pleasure of seeing them gradually surrounded by water which came across the road from the backed-up Awamutu Stream. Those who wished to reach their cars had to do so knee deep. The water was well over the road to Gracefield.
