WALSH TAKES TITLE

LONDON, April 25.
Jimmy Walsh deprived Kid Berg, the British lightweight boxer, of his title in a sensational fifteen-round bout at Liverpool. Berg was floored twice in the first round and severely trounced in the eighth, in which he sprained his ankle. Berg fell against the ropes in the ninth and the referee stopped the fight.
