A NAVAL ORGANISATION
An association of ex-naval men who served in the Great War has recently been incorporated under the title of Ex-Royal Naval Men's Association. It has as its main object the fostering of the welfare of those men who have served in the Royal Navy, Royal Naval Reserve, and Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve. There are'hundreds of such men now resident in New Zealand, and already a branch of the association has been formed in each of the four centres and membership is rapidly increasing. Under the auspices of the local branch a concert is to be held at the Majestic Theatre on Sunday, April 19. The programme will be given by the concert party of H.M.S. Dunedin, by courtesy of Commodore the Hon. E. R. Drummond, M.V.0., R.N. It is not often that the Wellington public are able to see the members of the Senior Service in their lighter moments, but at this concert they will see sword-swinging, hornpipes, conjuring, and acrobatics, and hear banjo, violin, and saxophone solos vocal items by Bthe glee party, and a mouth organ band, all contributed by the Dunedin's concert party.
