ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
The Wellington South Nursing Division met last week. Mrs. Betts, Lady Superintendent, reported that for the two days at the Winter Show 17 members were on duty, 11 cases were attended, and the total number of hours was 65£. During ; the • evening Mrs. Gaby, Lady Corps Superintendent, paid a visit to the division. Mrs. Betts re-' ported on the recent visit of herself and Miss Peach to the Otaki Health Camp. The sum of 6s was collected for the camp.. The Platts-Mills Cup was presented to Miss Salisbury. Best wishes were extended to the division's competition squad, Misses Carroll, Cleaver, Bush, and McCarthy (leader) who, accompanied by Mrs. Betts, are visiting Auckland. Thanks were accorded to. Miss Leydon, who offered to act as emergency when it was thought one of the team might not be available to make' the trip. '. During the evening squad work was practised, and questions asked on pressure points and temperatures.
