KENT AND WADE IN COOP

Good wrestling was provided 'by Harry Kent (Philadelphia) and Glen Wade (Nebraska), who opened the 1936 wrestling season in Palmerston North' at the Opera House on Wednesday night, reports "The Times." The bout went the fujl eight rounds without a fall, and . the referee's decision —a draw —met with popular applause. There was a good attendance of the public. Both men were in the pink of condition, but Kent had a decided advantage, over Wade in regard to both.; weight and height, this being offset by Wade's greater experience and ringcraft. Kent early established a lead on points, but his opponent wiped off the deficit in the closing rounds.
