TOURNAMENT BALL
Much interest is attached :to the inter-university tournament ball which will take place at the Town Hall on Tuesday, April 14., Great '-preparations are being made to ensure the success of this ball, The music will be' a specialty, ten members-, of the • Ist, Wellington Regiment will Pla y dance instruments, and will lend a, dash of brilliant colour with their new.scarlet uniforms. Decorations will be a feature also, and with the cheerful university folk from here and other places a very happy evening may be antics' pated altogether. Invitations have already been issued. Mr. and Mrs.G, F. Dixon will be host and hostess, and the latter wjl,l present''the trophies. Mr. Dlxon was' tournament delegate for Victoria : University College, for the years 1901 to. 1909,, and as one of the founders of the tournament takes a special interest in its success*-
