KOROKORO PRESENTATION
The Korokprp Tennis Club lield a very successful dance in the. Petone Working .Men's Club social hall on Saturday evening- Messrs. J. Annear a.nd J. Meaohen were joint M.C.s, and the music was supplied by a good orchestra. The opportunity was taken to make a presentation, on behalf of present and past members of the club, tp Mr-, A, Flux, a. life member, gn the ocpasipn of his apprgaoh.ing rnar-rjage.
The Monte Car-io dances were WQn by Mr. J.Lucas and Miss F.'Bocook and Mr. A, MeLauGhJan. and partner. Miss V, Platt and Miss A. Daniels entertained- the company with a tap dance in-costume, and Winsome and Mervyn Smith, -pupils of .Miss Eva Draper, demonstrated the slow foxtrot, quickstep, and waltz.
The dance committee included Misses J. Dobson, O. McMillan, Mrs. Meachen, Miss A. McNeill (secretary), and Messrs. J. Annear, W. Tobin, J. Meachen, E. Haines, and L. McKee.
