The elevation of the improving three-year-old Baron Alfonso to the 2min 59sec and 3min 36sec classes will be welcomed by the club officials, as there will be an incentive for keen wagering on the respective merits oi this youngster, Celebrity, Parochial, Muriel Bond, and Silk Cord. . Additions to the trotting fields include Nelson Chief, Waikato Prince, Autumn Lou, and Mabel Chimes. Of these, Waikato Prince was the only one to race at Wanganui, and ne made only the one appearance. _ Acceptances close this evening at 8.30 o'clock with the secretary. Box 106, Hawera.
