GOOD FRIDAY— ORGAN RECITAL.

The fine organ in the Town Hall will be heard once more on Good Friday night when a recital of appropriate music will be given by Mr. H. Temple White, whose reputation extends throughout the. whole of the Dominion. Prominent among the items of a delectable programme will be the C Minor "Prelude and Fugue" of Bach with its thundering pedal solo, the exquisite "Pastorale" of Cesar-Franck, the "March on a Theme of Handel" by Guilmant, and a delightful; atmospheric impression "On the Moor" by a modern writer, Julian Nesbitt. Assisting Mr. Temple White will be Miss Weno Tahiwi, the charming Maori singer, who will sing some of the Native songs, and Mr. Reg. Svtton, a violinist of distinction, who was a pupil of the great Ysaye. Mr. Svtton's items will include Bach's "Air for the G String" and the "Gipsy Airs" by Sarasate. '
