LUSTRE HOSIERY LTD.'S, YEAR.
I Making provision for taxation, Lustre Hosiery, Ltd., made a net profit of £31 252 on its operations for 1935. The amount cleared in 1934 was £33,158. Final dividend payments for the year make the. total disbursement to shareholders equal to 73 per cent, for the twelve months, the same ratio as in 1934. The board reported that trading in the Commonwealth was as good as in 1934, but a loss had been incurred in New Zealand, and this had been set off against this year's Australian results. The expansion programme adopted by the directors, and financed by the issue of £60,000 additional ordinary shares, was proceeding satisfactorily.
