ABOLITION PROPOSAL

Revealing that 3800 votes in the last election cost 250,000 dollars, the Dominion Electoral Officer is recom» mending to the Government that tha absentee vote system, under which fishermen, railwaymen, and others away from work on election day vote, be abolished.
