MR. D. W. ANDERSON
The death occurred yesterday of Mr. David William Anderson, who was in his seventy-first year. . The late Mr. Anderson was born on June 3, 1865, the eldest son of the late Mr. David Anderson, and was educated at Wellington College. He was connected with the business life of Wellington for many years as a member of the firm of David Anderson and Son, Italian warehousemen, but retired from active business in 1920. At the time of his death he was a director of the Gear Meat Preserving and Freezing Company, Ltd., and of W. E. Woods, Ltd.
Mr. Anderson was at one time churchwarden at St. Peter's Church, Wellington, and was a member of the Wellington Diocesan Board of Trustees until his death. He leaves a widow, three sons, David (Christchurch), Paul and Donald (Wellington), and three daughters, Miss Marjorie Anderson (Wellington), Mrs. C. E. Newhouse (England), and Miss Noel Anderson (Wellington). Other relatives are a sister, Mrs. .W. J. Shaw (Auckland), and two brothers, Mr. E. H. Anderson (Day's Bay) and Dr. A. L. Anderson (Whangarei).
