BON VOYAGE
MR. AND MRS.. EDSTROM
Representatives of sports bodies met on the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rangitane this afternoon to farewell and bid yon voyage to Mr. J. S. Edstrom, president of the International Amateur Athletic Federation, and a member of the executive council of the International Olympic Committee, and Mrs. Edstrom.
Among those present were Messrs. R. W. McVilly (president of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association), H. McCormick (secretary of the N.Z. A.A.A. and chairman of the New Zealand Olympic Games Council), J. W. Heenan (representing the Boxing Association), A. D. Bayfeild (representing the Rowing Association), E. Wylie (representing the New Zealand Rugby Union), D. Menzies (a trustee of the New Zealand Olympic Games Fund), and H. Amos (secretary of the New Zealand Olympic Games Association).
