Advice has been received by the Auckland Harbour Board that its new tug, the William C. Daldy, which is en route from Newcaslle-on-Tyno to Auckland, sailed from Colombo on December 17. She is due. at Auckland about JanuaTy -25.

WANGANELLA'S TRIP CANCELLED.

Owing to the continuation of the Australian ■ seamen's strike the sailing of the Wanganella from Sydney for Auckland tomorrow has been cancelled and her excursion cruise to northern ports from Auckland next week ■ has also ' been abandoned. She was scheduled to reach Auckland on New Year's Day and to sail <n her northern cruise the following day.
