PEACE PLAN REFUSED
ABYSSINIA'S REPLY
DESTRUCTIVE OF LEAGUE'S BASIS
(Received December 20, 9.50 a.m.) ADDIS ABABA, December 19. The Government has notified the British and French Ministers that it refuses the peace plan, as it is destructive of the League's very basis. Ethiopia is resolved to defend her land and liberty, and is convinced that neither the League Council nor the Assembly will support such a settlement.
