CLAIM SETTLED
INJURED WATERSIDER
In the Arbitration Court today before Mr. Justice Page and Messrs. W. Cecil Prime (employers' assessor) and A. L. Monteith (workers' •'assessor) John Anderson, a waterside worker,of Christchurch, who was injured while working on a vessel at Lyttelton in June, 1934, asked, for a settlement of his claim for compensation against the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand. . '
Mr. P. J. O'Regan,- who appeared for Anderson, said that the plaintiff had arranged a settlement with the defendant company which would pay him a further £79 4s and costs amounting to £5 ss.
Mr. C. G. White, who represented the defendant company, consented to judgment being entered for that amount.
