EIGHT BUILDINGS LOST

SYDNEY, This Day.
Eight buildings in the centre of the town of Mungindi were destroyed by fire last night, while other premises were saved by the strenuous efforts of a bucket brigade of 2QO men and by fire-breaks made by demolishing some of the houses. The damage is estimated at about £5000. .
