FORCED DOWN AFTER START

LONDON, December 10.
FJying a Klemm low-winged monoplane, a South Australian, Mr. R. W. Gropler, who has had only 75 hours' solo flying, left Portsmouth to fly horns to Adelaide in easy stages.
He was forced down near Calais owing- to bad weather. .
