MINE EXPLOSION
SIXTEEN MEN DEAD
COALHURST (Alberta), Dec. 9.
Sixteen miners have died as the result of an explosion which blasted the 600 ft level in" the mine of Lethbridge Collieries, Ltd. The cause of the explosion is unknown. The bodies have been recovered. The explosion occurred as the night shift was going on duty.
