N.Z. AUTHORS' WEEK
A meeting of the general committee of the promoters of New Zealand Authors' Week was heia on Monday evening. Mr. C. A. L. Treadwell presided. The organiser, Mr. O. N. Gillespie, reported that a strong, local sub-committee had been set up in Nelson, and that interest was being maintained in the movement, ' a steady stream of donations continuing from England, Australia, and New Zealand. Mr. Johannes Andersen, editor in chief of the bibliography now in course of preparation, advised that the work was reaching surprising proportions. The committee asks that all writers or anyone knowing of writers who have published- New Zealand books will communicate with him. The exhibitions week was settled for the last week in March arid the first week in April.
