For Mr. R. W. Lander last night's meeting of. the council of'the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association was his last as co-delegate with Mi\< F.; M. Reid, of the Otagp Centre. Mri Lander has been transferred "to Dunedin. : . ■
■It is anticipated that Sir Charles Statham will be appointed to succeed Mr. Lander. :
The chairman (Mr. A. Urquhart) thanked Mr. Lander for his services on the council, and expressed the hope that his future would be a,bright arid happy one.
