FURTHER OUTBURSTS
DEATH OF A STUDENT
A REPORTED PARTY AGREEMENT
(Received December 10, noon.)
CAIRO, December 9.
Students continued their patriotic outbursts. A tramcar and two motorbuses were set on fire and destroyed, the police, taking' advantage of the permission to fire at the rioters instead of over their heads, fired at a student, who was injured and subsequently died.
School girls paraded, working themselves up into a frenzy. The police used sticks freely to disperse them. In the meantime the Wafdists and Liberals are reported to have reached an agreement in favour of the reintroduction of the 1923 constitution.
