REVIEW OF THE 'FIELDS

AUCKLAND,-December 5. ' The fields for Saturday, the concluding day, are an improvement on those of today, and if all the acceptors lin<a up the racing should be good and dray a bigger attendance. ' The course is in excellent ■ order.

In the principal race, the President's Handicap, there are nine left in. and Gay Broney and Sir Abb, who fought out a close finish today, should again be. prominent now that they, have struck form. Although Sir Abb is only allowed 31b for his beating he ma' succeed in turning the tabled. Prince Colossus is very favourably placed, coming in on much better terms with the pair mentioned. Wait and See is a good lightweight prospect. ." After Scotland's brilliant but ineffectual effort in today's sprint he will be in great demand for the Ruawai Handicap and it is difficult to see him getting beaten, ■■ especially as on tlv.s occasion he will have a good pull in the weights. . . ■ . .
