(Received December 4, 9.45 a.m.)
MILAN, December 3,
It is mysteriously announced that Carlo Feltrinelli, one of the biggest industrialists in the country, who had been accused of trafficking in foreign currency, "took ill and died."
It is alleged that he deposited £6.000.000 in Swiss banks in his wife's name, and that after the discovery of this he offered £ 1,000,000 to the Government, which refused to accept it, sequestrated all his property in Italy, and placed a lien on his accounts abroa.d.
It is stated officially-^that the death of Signor Feltrinelli was not connected with the charges, and occurred at a board meeting, from natural causes.
