"KING SOLOMON OF BROADWAY."

In "King • Solomon of Broadway," Edmund Lowe 'has the role of the manager of a Broadway dance palace. Early in the picture he is seen gambling, and in order to save his life gave the dance palace as a security. The only trouble with thjs was that the palace was owned by another, Edward Pawley, cast as a convict just released from prison. Lowe had to use his wits and his muscle, also Pinkey Tomlin, Dorothy Page, Louise Henry, and Charles Grapewin, to save himself. Dorothy Page and Pinkey Tomlin proved that they could not only act but sing with their three numbers, "That's What You Think," "Moanin' in the Moonlight." and "A Flower in My Lapel," the first of which was especially written for the production by Pinkey Tomlin, who also wrote the popular number, "The Object of My Affections."
