SYDNEY, November 5. The New Zealand women tennis players played their second match today in pleasant weather against a New South Wales Hardcourts Association team. The New Zealanders are not used to playing on a loam surface and the sun's glare also inconvenienced them. Results:— Singles. Mrs. Betts beat Miss T. Poole (N.Z.), 6-0, 6-3. Mrs. Henry beat Miss I. Poole (N.Z.), 6-2, 6-1. Miss Tosh beat Miss Rudkin (N.Z.), 6-2. 6-2. Miss Selwin beat Miss Nicholla (N.Z.), G-3, 6-1. Miss Menzies beat Miss Beverley (N.Z.), G-0, 7-5. Miss Williams v. Miss Miller (N.Z.), 8-6, 5-7. 4 Mrs. Henry beat Miss Rudltin, 64, 8-6. Miss Williams beat Miss T. Poole, 6-4, 6-2. Miss Tosh v. Miss I. Poole, 4-6, 9-7. Mrs. Betls v. Miss Miller, 6-4, 1-6.
