DOMINION AUCTIONEERING CO., 7 King Street, Palmerston N.
Mr. C. N. Rabone, the auctioneer and sole proprietor of the Dominion Auctioneering Co., has completely revolutionised their Pig and Poultry Yards. These extend right from the rear of the mart in King Street now to Queen Street, and it can safely be stated that there are no finer yards in New Zealand. They are specially arranged to provide up-to-date sanitation and drainage. There is accommodation for 600 pigs, 100 pens for poultry, and ample space for horses, timber, posts, and general clearing sales. There is access from Queen Street to King Street for one-way-vehicular traffic, and the whole lay-out is a tribute to Mr. Rabone's enterprise. This is the largest fruit, produce, pig, and poultry mart in the province.
