-TEAMSTER'S DEATH
VERDICT OF SUICIDE

CHRISTCHURCH, October 17.
The death of Allan Robert Harris, a single man, 22 years of age, who was found shot on August 29 in a hut at Greendale, where he was employed as a teamster, was investigated by Mr. E. C. Levvey, S.M., Corona*, today. The Coroner found that Harris died from a bullet-wound self-inflicted while he was in a state of mental disturbance after an attack of influenza Evidence was given that Harris had had a nervous breakdown in 1929 and in 1932 and had his head injured in an accident. Later in the same year he suffered mental, trouble, and was for a year in a mental hospital.
