GREENLAND'S HIGHEST
ANGLO-DANfSH EXPEDITION

The "Daily Herald's." Copenhagen correspondent says that the AngloDanish Arctic expedition under Mr. Augustine Courtauld succeeded in scaling : Greenland's highest mountain, Kangeraluksuak, of 13,000 feet. - The party hoisted the British and Danish, flags, -r-i:- '...: ... The expedition left Britain in July in the late Sir Ernest Shakleton's famous ship the Quest. It includes four women. .
The purpose of the expedition was to explore along latitude 70 for gee-" graphical purposes. The wives of four members accompanied the expedition, and were to remain on board during the exploration of "the land. Mr. Courtauld four years ago spent the whole of one winter alone in a remote part of Greenland in a small hut.
