RANGITIKEI'S PRESIDENT
At the annual meeting of the Rangitikei Racing Club this week the position 'of president, rendered vacant by the death of Mr. J. F. McKelvie, was contested by Messrs. J. H. Perrett and R. D. McKelyie, the latter winning the position by 60 votes to 55. There were ten nominations for five seats on the committee, two retiring members Messrs! K. McK. Duncan and A. W. Amon, topping the poll, and new members elected being Messrs. Q. O. Wilson, J. J. Mansell, and B. J. Frecklington.
