MATAURA CONTEST
CANDIDATES FOR BALLOT
(By Telegraph—Tress Association ) INVERCARGILL, August 12 A report from Gore states that interest is developing in the selection of a Government candidate to contest the Mataura seat at the General Election. The names of four probable candidates have been jnentionad, and it is expected that they will go before a ballot at 3. meeting to be held shortly. The names are Messrs. A. J. Cameron, farmer, of Gore; A. T.Dolamore, solicitor, of Gore; T. Golden, farmer, of Fortrose; and F. H. Murney/farmei-, of Tapanui.
