MAORIS MOVE SOUTH
FAREWELL TO QUEENSLAND BRISBANE, July 22. The Maori Rugby team was given a rousing farewell when it left Queensland today. Critics claim that it has done more than any other touring side to popularise the Union game, and the visit has been a financial success. The team spent its last day in Queensland visiting farms where, tropical fruits grow abundantly. The Maoris ate pineapples, custard apples, and pawpaws to their hearts' content.
