WOMEN NOT WANTED
The Scottish Piping Society of London, which is composed entirely of men who can play or are learning to play the bagpipes, has decided to maintain Lhe foundation rule that women.are not eligible as members or associates. It has, however, decided to open its membership to male non-players of Scottish nationality. The society has agreed to hold an annual dinner, and to make it an occasion for honouring a famous figure in the piping world each year.
