CHIEF DAIRYING AWARDS

AUCKLAND, This Day.
The points prize forx butter exhibited at the Auckland Winter Show, which opens tomorrow night, has been won by the United Dairy Company, Woodville, and the points prize for cheese by the Alton Co-operative Dairy Co. The shield for most points in the cheese' section (for novices, etc.), was won by Takapau.
The principal prize awards are as follows:—
Butter, 281b, suitable for export, Ngatea, 95pts, 1; Hautapu, 94.9pt5, 2; Woodville, 94.8pts, 3; • Morrinsville, 94.5pt5, 4.
Butter, 561b, suitable for export: Awanui, 95pts, 1; Ngatea, 94.9 pts, 2; Ruawai, 94.8 pts, 3; Woodville, 94.3pt5, 4.
Auckland provincial championship: Kaikohe, 95pts, 1; Hautapu, 94.8pts, 2; Piopio, 94.5pt5, 3.
Butter made.by buttermaker or first assistant: • Wangaehu, 95pts, 1; Paerata, 94.9pt5, 2; Frankton, 94.8pts, 3; Woodville, 94.5pt5, 3.
Cheese, New Zealand championship: Dalefield, 94.8pts, 1; Alton, 94.3pt5, 2; Stratford, 94pts, 3; Pembroke, 93.8pts, 4.
